I remember working this hooded scarf. It was late at night, me in my pj’s, sitting up under my blanket in bed (It was a cold winter’s night, here where I’m from in South Africa) with my yarn and hook in hand. I remember being frustrated as I didn’t want (for the life of me) a pointed hoodie. I sat there and refused to stop until I could figure out how to get that rounded hoodie and that I did at around 2 in the morning. Satisfied, it was time to sleep! This pattern was created with the intention of showing how to create a rounded hoodie.
Pattern Notes
- One size to fit a head circumference of approximately 22″or 55cm.
- The Hooded Scarf is worked in 3 parts: the scarf, the hoodie and the ribbing for the hoodie.
- ch3 and ch2 counts as a stitch.
- Do not work a st into the same st from where the ch3 or ch2 comes out of.
